The history of Backstreet
Backstreet is a true Americana Band, playing all the musical genres that Americana implies. We love all music that is good, and we enjoy the stimulation that comes from a wide variety of music.
Having been together for so long, our musical repertoire is large, and we will tailor our performances to fit our audience. Sometimes we're hired to play bluegrass all night. Sometimes we're hired to play all Celtic music. But most often, we're hired to play our eclectic blend of Americana genres. Something for everyone, so to speak.
MILLER & PARDUE
Roger Miller and Jeff Pardue are founding members of Backstreet. When performing as a duo act, Roger and Jeff go by the name, "Miller & Pardue". Very often, we get calls for one, two, or three musicians to perform. Sometimes these smaller acts fit the situation better than the full band. We are comfortable providing any number of musicians or even a solo act to provide the live music for which Backstreet is known. Whether it's a one-man show, a duo act, a 4-piece Americana Band, or a 5-piece Bluegrass Band, Backstreet and Miller & Pardue always deliver a professional act.
